We are conducting a two-phase comprehensive usability study of our Learning Management Systems (LMS) and piloting a new introductory Python course.
Our goal is to understand the user experience and identify areas for improvement, ensuring the most seamless and intuitive learning experience possible.
Opportunities
- Observed user testing: Participate in task-based observed user testing where you'll navigate through the LMS, carrying out specific tasks and sharing your thoughts. Duration: Approximately two hours between October 30 – November 10.
- Pilot course run: Join a five-week Python 1 course on Open EdX, giving feedback periodically via surveys and/or interviews. Duration: ~40 hours from November 13 – December 15.
Please note: You have the option to participate in both phases of the usability study or choose the opportunity that aligns most with your preferences and schedule.
What's in it for you?
- Exclusive access: If you are selected for the pilot, you'll receive early access to our new introductory Python course and develop your skills for free.
- Voice your experience: Provide feedback that shapes the course and LMS to better fit the needs of future learners.
- Help the community: By participating, you contribute to enhancing the overall user experience for a wider audience.
- Compensation: Receive a $50 gift card for participating in observed user testing and a $250 gift card for participating in and completing the Python course pilot.
