Creating a new account
If you have not taken a course with WatSPEED in the past:
To create a New Account with WatSPEED, navigate to our student portal and follow the on-screen prompt to create a new account. After following the account creation process, you will be directed to your student profile to fill out the additional information required for your student account.
After creating your account, the email address and password you set will be the email address and password you use to sign in to various WatSPEED systems (Student Portal, Learnworlds, OpenedX, University Library).
Signing in to your existing account
If you have taken a course with WatSPEED before and therefore have an existing account, you will have received an email from WatSPEED Support to the email address that you should be signing in with. Please follow the instructions in that email, including using the forgot password functionality to set your password for your WatSPEED account.
After resetting your password, the email address and password you set will be the email address and password you use to sign in to various WatSPEED systems (Student Portal, Learnworlds, OpenedX, University Library).
Managing your account
- At any time, please feel free to use the forgot password functionality to reset your password if needed.
- If you need to change your login email address, please contact WatSPEED-Support@uwaterloo.ca. We are currently unable to offer self-service email address changes.
- Please note, you can change your communication email address in the student portal on your profile, but this will not change your login email address.
