Complete the following steps to create a new account with WatSPEED:
Navigate to our student portal and enter your email address in the “I am a new user” section on the right of the
page. This will start the account creation process and you will receive an email to
set your temporary password.
Please note: If you receive a message that indicates you already have an account with the email
address provided, please reach out to WatSPEED-support@uwaterloo.ca for help in accessing your account.
Set your temporary password.
Login with your email address provided and temporary password in the “I have an Account
with my Personal Email” section in the middle of the page.
After you have completed your first course purchase, you will receive an email from
WatSPEED-support@uwaterloo.ca to create your WatIAM credentials. The link in this email, which is needed to create your account, expires after a period
of time. We encourage you to act quickly to complete your account setup once you receive
the email.
Please note: If you do not action your WatIAM email before it expires, please reach out to WatSPEED-support@uwaterloo.ca for assistance in regenerating the invitation.
After you have actioned the WatIAM setup, navigate back to our student portal and sign in using the “I have a University of Waterloo Account” section on the left
of the page. This will take you to the University of Waterloo's single sign on page
to log in to your WatSPEED account using your WatIAM credentials. Use the format username@uwaterloo.ca
and your password to log in.
