Accessibility and Accommodations

Accessibility statement

At WatSPEED, it is our goal to provide lifelong learning that meets the needs of all our online learners. This includes providing content that is accessible to learners with disabilities and diverse learning needs.

Our ongoing efforts to become aligned with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) are guided by University of Waterloo accessibility legislation and policy and the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.

The majority of our online courses are currently delivered via the Desire2Learn Learning Environment or Ed2Go. Learn more at Desire2Learn Accessibility and Ed2Go Accessibility.

If you are interested in knowing more about the accessibility of a course before registering, please send an email to, or call 519-888-4773

Academic accommodations

If you require accommodation for a WatSPEED course, please send an email to or call 519-888-4773.

Our client success advisors will work with you to determine the arrangements that meet your needs and, if necessary, will communicate those arrangements to your instructor. We do not require documentation to provide an accommodation, and if you do choose to disclose any sensitive and/or medical information to the client success advisors as part of your accommodation request, that information will not be shared with your instructor.
